Setting up the beacons

Before handling the beacons, you will need to follow these steps

  • Register and/or log in to the Bluzone portal
  • Go the the Templates menu and create your configuration template. Verify the packet types you will need, the advertisement interval, etc.
  • If needed, install the Bluzone mobile application in an iPhone or iPad (if it does not appear in the AppStore, verify that it is not filtered as iPad only
  • Login with the information used in your Bluzone portal account
  • Add the new beacon to your account
    • Put the new beacon to be added close to the device ( close the the Home button on the iPads, and close to the camera for the iPhones)
    • Click on the Provision option and select Beacon
    • Select the beacon from the list (it should be sorted so the closer beacon is on the top of the list)
    • Select the template you created above and follow instructions

In case you see that the beacon configuration is not correct or you want to change some settings, you will need to modify your template or create a new one, remove the beacon and then start its setup
